A graduate from the internationally-renowned FAMU (Academy of Fine Arts) Department of Photography in the Czech capital, Prague, my passion for the subject started a few years earlier in the photography clubs and societies in Bolesławiec (my home town), Jelenia Góra and Wrocław.

I am also a member of ZPAF – the Association of Polish Art Photographers.

During a six-year stay in the south of France, I worked as photographer for community theatre companies (Les Sud-Est Theatres, Les 102, les Comediens du Possible) – an ideal environment to further strengthen my creative output.

I then worked as a freelance photographer in Warsaw, from 1995 until moving to Bournemouth in England in 2013.

My speciality is portraiture, whether nude, commercial, family or illustrative. I’m also fascinated by the human environment, still life, architecture and the natural world and I work comfortably both in the studio and on location.

I’ve worked with corporate clients – the press, photographic, advertising and PR agencies, and retail clients – and with individual/personal clients.

My work has appeared in press releases, books and catalogues.

Alongside my commercial work, I’ve also developed a purely artistic career. From 1998 to 2013 I ran “studYO” – a photography studio in central Warsaw. It was a thriving, artistic place to work, with exhibitions, concerts and creative meetings.

My artworks have been presented in both individual and collective exhibitions across Poland – Warsaw, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Lublin, Lódź, Cracow, Bielsko-Biała – and other countries including France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Sweden and Finland.

My work also features in the collections of ZPAF (the Association of Polish Art Photographers) as well as other associations and private collections.
